"Equis" with Richard Burton

Many years ago, I had by chance, the opportunity to see the play "Equis," starring Richard Burton as the psychiatrist. That I would have to say, was the most intense and riviting performance and show I have seen to date, except perhaps, "Zorba," with Anthony Quinn...

There is an excellent DVD of Burton in EQUUS that opens up the play a bit. Well worth watching.

I much preferred Burton in the sequel, DOS EQUIS: Nugget's Revenge.
