So, with him joining Speed the Plow, does this affect Leap of Faith at all?

I don't think so. Was Leap of Faith likely to get a Broadway theatre for this season anyway?
I think he is (as of April, he definitely was) but specifics on the show's time frame seem to be scarce. Speed-the-Plow is a limited run. The Atlantic's website has it running from October 3 through November 16th, but the new press releases have a different starting date, so presumably everything has shifted a little bit. If Leap of Faith is supposed to be sometime next year, and Speed-the-Plow is only for a short time, it shouldn't affect LoF.

I sorely hope he's still attached. he'd be great in that role!
I remember reading in an Alan Menken interview they were trying to get the show in this season, unless I'm mistaken.

Jacket covered in mirrors, guys. That's where it's at.
Jacket covered in mirrors, gospel music and Rob Ashford choreography - amen! I say, AMEN!

well, telsey + company casts both, so i doubt they'd purposely conflict with themselves.
LEAP OF FAITH has hit some snags and is in flux, at the moment.
Hopefully it will get it's act together.
The score is inspiring!
Curtain, I hope you are not using Reidel as your source. He has a jaundiced eye - in fact, his liver is not far behind.
And yet often, he's at least partially correct.

hey, even a broken clock is right twice a day. At least that's what I've been trying to tell myself for the last 8 years..

these rumors are enough to make me cry
Oh my god, I may meet Riedel in the next few days - I will totally ask him about Leap!
Oh, God - don't bring it up! If he knows there is interest, we will have another LEAP column full of innuendos and half truths.

That's probably outdated information. Look how old the links are.

My guess is if there isn't a conflict with timing, Raul will still be involved. I think after two plays it'll be time for him to do a musical again.

From your lips to God's ears!
Well, if this happens I'll be planning another NYC trip!
