Holy sh*t that's hella scary! I can't imagine the pain but thank goodness he had med-insurance and was able to be cared for quickly. Poor guy, down two internal-organs and a forest-sprite gig...

Booking gigs while in the hospital. Geez! I would have loved to have heard that conversation. I have tubes coming out of me, but by October I should be fine.

Speedy recovery though.

That is some really crazy news! He's actually lucky he had that terribel pain from his appendix. I once went to the doctor with some mild stomach cramps, which were more annoying than actually painful. I only went to get maybe a prescription as I figured it was either a bug or maybe gas or something minor. Luckily, my doctor recognized a couple of telltale signs when he examinded me as my appendix had already burst and I had to be rushed to the ER and directly into surgery. I didn't display any of the regular symptoms (I was even quite hungry at the time). The lesson: Get to know your body and listen when it tries to tell you something. Thank God I went to the doctor at all. If I had waited one more day, I probably wouldn't be here.

First of all, have a safe and speedy recovery, Euan.

Now, take it from someone who at a much later age went through all kinds of surgery (qyadryoke bypass, aortic valve replacement, etc., etc.), DON'T RUSH your recovery until you are in in tip top shape. It's tempting when you start to feel better to jump into everyday activities. I did that and, as a result, I was in the hospital again much the worse for wear. We all love you -- so PLEASE do yourself and all of us a favor by taking it -- dare I say it? -- one step at a time.

Yikes on the pictures. Wish him the best. Met him briefly after Taboo and he could not have been nicer!
