Just noticed that Dear Evan Hansen is up at TKTS today, both shows, for 20% off. First time it's been on the boards.

I remember DEH was on TKTS for 50% off back in November 2016 while on previews.

I’m not in NYC right now, but if anyone gets tickets from TKTS, I’d be curious to hear about ticket price and seat location.

The tickets are priced at $126. If you look on the app, go to the Lincoln Center location, it now displays the price as well as the percentage.

My girlfriend told me that after Labor Day, the number of theatergoers on Broadway go down tremendously, therefore all the shows see significant drop on their ticket sales. Some shows are greedy and snobby and will prefer to have hundreds of empty seats rather than sell at TKTS. Kudos to the DEH producers for being generous and thoughtful in using this opportunity to give back to the community. That shows they have guts to do what’s right rather than what’s good for their pockets or their ego. I respect any show that gives opportunity for people who live on a budget to have access to art.

^ On that topic, Mean Girls for example, which has been selling out consistently has a ton of seats available for September, and did a $69.50 promotion yesterday. My wallet is thrilled.
