Megan does need to come back to Broadway... perhaps she'll make her own show sometime in the future?? Sweet Heart break in was brilliant even though it wasn't Broadway. I saw her in How to Succeed and Grease.. so good, I don't care what role she has I would see her in anything also. Oh and for all people that love Megan I have a Megan website--- so check it out. And visit often! Right now it is down because I am working on a new layout but it should be up in a few days-- so keep checking

It's fairly obvious that WILL AND GRACE will not be around after next season, and it would be very nice to have Megan back on Broadway. It would also be nice to have Eric McCormack on stage, too! Oh, how I'd love to see a musical version of ARSENIC AND OLD LACE, where Eric would play Mortimer Brewster--and Angela Lansbury and Carol Channing would play his dotty aunts! Mr. Shaiman, what do you think?

Does McCormack do on stage that annoying final-words-in-a-sentence-emphasis he's done to death on W&G

i.e.:

"You don't have to tell people you're a flaming gay because, well, YOU'RE A FLAMING GAY!"

I've seen the show maybe 3x and every line of his dialogue is like that.

I'm pretty sure that she's signed up to do a daytime talk show starting in the Fall of 2006. I'm sure she'd be marvelous at it, but what's the success rate of those things?

She was part of Jason Robert Browns show in L.A. She was great! She sang "Summer in Ohio" and one other I can't remember. Wonderful singer/

I believe Magen has a cabaret type show scheduled for next year in Orange County, CA. I'm not sure if she's taking it on the road or anything.

She is starting her own talk show very soon and no it is not finalized that this is their last season. In the last thread about this it was stated that in several interviews they all said they hope this show continues for a few more years.

(Martha Graham from a letter to Agnes de Mille) "There is a vitality, a life force, a quickening That is translated through you into action, And because there is only one of you in all time, This expression is unique. If you block it, It will never exist through any other medium And be lost. The world will never have it. It is not your business to determine how good it is, Nor how valuable it is, Nor how it compares with other expressions. It is your business to keep it yours, clearly and directly, To keep the channel open. You do not even have to believe in yourself or your work. You have to keep open and aware Directly to the urges that motivate you. Keep the channel open. No artist is pleased. There is no satisfaction whatever at any time. There is only a queer, divine dissatisfaction, A blessed unrest that keeps us marching And makes us more alive than others."

I beg to differ. Yes they aren't Broadway, but she still has shown her love for performing outside of just acting by doing such things as singing on the Tony's, M&M commercial and cabaret shows. I do think it is pretty hard doing a successful TV show and being on Broadway. Give the girl her deserved credit!

OMG, I love this woman. I really worship my Will & Grace. The show is my church/mosque/temple/wooded area/etc/. BUT, I saw Megan perform on Clay Aiken's Christmas special, and at that point, she really needed some vocal work. Playing Karen must have thrown off her golden voice. She made odd faces and was often reaching for those notes.

I'm postive that Megan loves Broadway, or else why would she see Steel Magnolias or Doubt or present at the Tonys? And in response to muscle23, throughout Megan's Will & Grace career, why would she leave the show for a role on Broadway? It's not like she hates doing sitcoms. She must love both theater and TV. Even if you are paid millions, you don't stay on a show for 8 years if you hate it. So, Megan must love both theater and TV and she's probably waiting for the right time and opportunity to go back to the stage.

By the by, for anyone who had seen Megan in H2$, how was she? I LOVE her on the recording. I think she had an AMAZING belt!

muscle, it's kinda hard to do Broadway when you tape a tv show in Los Angeles. And actually, she was in consideration for the West End production of Guys and Dolls as Adelaide but had to drop out because of scheduling conflicts.

I DEF heard about that! And then all of a sudden the Krawkowskinator came in (and I call her that with love!) I think that Megan may have been a tad old for that part. I mean, she's 46, if I'm correct.
