Extension for Mothers & Sons?

I saw M&S on its first preview, really want to see it again at the end of June with friends. It is currently only scheduled until June 8th? Anyone know if it will be extended or what is the time frame for that announcement? Thanks

It doesn't look like it is making a lot of money at the box office, and on nytimes.com's listings, it doesn't call it an open run, but says "closing June 8." So... doesn't look good, but I never saw anything say it is definitely closing on that day.

Shows open as limited runs all the time, with an announced closing date. Sometimes they extend, sometimes they don't.

Unless box office picks up after reviews and/or Tony nominations come out, I wouldn't count on an extension.

I can pretty much guarantee this won't be running past June 8th. They have $37 tickets on Goldstar. They've just announced $30 tickets for people under 30. They're doing everything they can to practically give tickets away.

This show is a dud-for all the accolades it has received no one is interested. I found it horribly written and trite. This doesn't surprise me at all. It would probably close early if it wasn't already a short run.

That's really a shame as my sister and I were both looking forward to seeing it in late June when we will be in New York. Now I'll have to find another show for Thursday June 26th.

This was the show I really wanted to see in late June but was afraid it wouldn't extend so used by last open date to see All the Way.When I saw it had extended I bought Sunday matinee on June 29 so now I will have to cut short my viewing of the Pride Parade. I am hoping it doesn't close early but from what Ive been reading that is a distinct possibility.

I have a friend in the cast and he tells me that no one is worried about the play closing in the near future.
