Posted: 7/21/11 at 9:07amI think I've talked about this on the board before, but I saw Extremities later in the run when Farrah Fawcett took over the lead. I thought she and the play were very good, but I was in high school at the time and I wonder if I'd feel the same way today.

Posted: 7/21/11 at 9:20amI never saw it, but everything I read about it indicated this was almost like theatrical porn. Even for '97, when things like "Burning Bed" were still fresh, this was apparently so over the top as to be absurd. The pity of it is that it's such a great subject, but it got this melodramatic, sensationalistic treatment that served no one very well.

Posted: 7/21/11 at 9:40amI also saw it with Farrah Fawcett. She was very good, much to my surprise. The play, not so much. It was much as Sean describes.

Whatever happened to James Russo? The last thing I remember seeing him in was MY OWN PRIVATE IDAHO.
Sharing an apartment with Barry Miller somewhere?
