I saw this in London and was astounded! Brilliant and timely. The cast and direction are stellar. Fiddler should (i hope) transfer to NY.

Would be interesting if it did. There is a US tour happening and the Yiddish version is about to re-open off-Broadway.

With the most recent Broadway revival only having closed two years ago and now the highly acclaimed Yiddish production moving further uptown to Stage 42 I highly doubt anyone would be willing to risk bringing this one over in a market that's in no way going to be able to support a third revival in such a short time span.
