Just got a new production photo today! Its of the scene where the hobbits are in Lothlorien. I will also follow this post with descriptions of the other pictures.

These are for all the pictures on the other page!
1. Obviously a Black Rider
2. Gandalf's first visit to Frodo, throwing ring in the fire.
3. Frodo and Sam
4. Gandalf breathing life once again
5. Battle of Helms Deep
6. Claiming the throne and raising the dead army
7. the hobbits encounter the Ents
8 the show drop from the beginning of the production. A giant ring with twisted branches crawling from it and stretching literally throught the theater
9. Marquees above the theater entranceway
10. the rest are theater shots

I have seen plenty of shows where the audience gave rave responses and raised the roof during productions where critics then destroyed the show because it wasnt conventional. A lot of reviews are given and many times there are very political decisions made! Thats what I mean about the show and whether it is good or bad. Oh and quote me on that!

The music is really good. Like most have posted it is very celtic and there is mostly an underscore throughout the entire show. There are very few solos and even fewer ensemble numbers. You have to remember this is not being billed as a "Musical" Think of it more as a play set to music. However the moments where there are singing are well done. They are very welcoming moments. The ensemble numbers and Gollum's number are nothing short of a spectacle. The elvish choirs provide an unbelievable dissonant harmony. It is very unique. As far as Broadway. They are aiming at a London Premiere in Spring of 07. I imagine if Toronot and London are successful it could be in NY by 08
