The marquee is up for the new musical FIRST DATE.
Anyone have knowledge on the show?
I hear the lead female is cast and the lead male is out to a star.

Well that star better be Jesus Christ himself if they expect this show to last longer than 2 previews.

I can't see your picture but I can see the one posted here. Plus there is the discussion you're looking for.

The marquee looks about as generic and the show itself. It won't be long for this world. I couldn't even imagine what star would possibly go in for this.

I noticed the marquee when I saw Testament of Mary on Friday. It looks very generic and I overhead people predicting it wouldn't last. And what is the significance of adding, "Broadway's Musical Comedy" - as if there aren't other musical comedies on Broadway?

I believe all musicals on Broadway are extremely serious.
