FOLLIES LOGO
FOLLIES LOGO#1

Hey,
Was wondering if anyone could help find a monochromatic image of the Follies logo (the title and face). I need it in a graphic form that can be printed out to a 8 1/2 by 11.
The company I am ordering from states this.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept graphics in the following forms: photographs, grayscale, or scans. Basically we need you to upload a basic monochromatic image in the actual size you'd like
Any help would be much thanked!
you can pm me or email me at timonnlane@aol.com
Thanks in advance,
Scott

Aside from the obvious regarding your post, you don't specify WHICH version of FOLLIES do you want a logo of? There are way too many different logos for FOLLIES from various past productions... including the Broadway revival.
In the future... you need to be more detailed in your inquiries. Your post is quite vague.

Um, you realize this is a copyrighted piece of artwork and making copies of it or using it any way without the permission of the copyright owner is a violation of federal law, right? It's exactly the same offense as performing FOLLIES without getting the necessary license or producing a recording of a song from FOLLIES without paying royalties. I strongly urge you not to use a piece of copyrighted artwork without permission from the artist or his representative.

Posted: 11/4/08 at 3:13amDespite the legality issues, I see regional theatres using logos they probably don't have permission to use all the time. It's branding. They want to use the logos that people are familiar with. That doesn't make it okay, but it's still very common.
