Alas, I concur. It was mainly the same older material I saw three years ago, and the new skits were variable. The Bernadette & Nathan takeoffs were okay, but the BOY FROM OZ and Harvey in HAIRSPRAY parodies were among the weakest I've ever seen. And the CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF number was a total misfire. And some older skits REALLY need to be retired - the Les Mis 1st Act Finale, ANNIE, "You Gotta Be Disgusting" the "Rocky Horror" number and any number that goes on and on about how homogenized Broadway today is.
An entirely new and sharper FORBIDDEN BROADWAY is long overdue.
