Hey All -
Earlier this evening, having eyed my rehearsal and work schedules, I happened to book a pair of tickets (for both me and my father) to see FROST / NIXON at the Jacbos in May. Now, I'm interested in the show having since caught the episode of Charlie Rose this past Monday evening on Thirteen (where Peter Morgan, Frank Langella and Michael Sheen were guests). I lucked-out, using BroadwayOffers to snag Row BB - Seats 107 and 108. I'm curious as to the following:
(1) Are my particular seats good for this production?
(2) The length of the show reads: 1 hr., 55 min. without an intermission. Does that hold truth? Is it much of a strain, or does it hold interest?
(3) I'm 19 yrs. old. Would I find the production entertaining? Having not witnessed the actual interview(s), born in 1987 as I was, I figure a political thriller' such as this would spark some interest...
I'll leave the floor open to you fine people here. Whom I've thusly instilled my faith and trust within. Thanking you kindly in advance for pointing me in the right direction.
Best,
- Mike

1) BB is second row. Yes, they're good seats. You'll be about center.
2) I'd say that running time is about right. I didn't find it to be a strain. but I personally don't mind plays that are mainly talk oriented. If you're more of an action person, I don't know. I mean, they're moving with the words and the subject matter is gripping. But if you're already interested in it, you should be fine.
3) See above. I was really little when it happened and I was interested.
Anyone else have any thoughts? They too would be GREATLY appreciated by this fella here.

(1) Yes
(2) About 2 hours, give or take, no intermission.
(3) Completely riveting production, the time flies by. If you want to be an actor or consider yourself a theater afficianado, Frank Langella's performance is not to be missed.
It's about 2 hours, but you won't feel it. It goes by fast.
OoooOh yeah!
Frank Langella is my reason for doing what I do!
I mean, as an actor/stage performer, I idolize guys like him, Chris Plummer, Brian Dennehy, et al -- "The Old School Boys" still putting it on, walking the boards without hesitation.
Is the TONY in Frank's future?
The show really was a treat and as yankeefan said the time does fly by. The only thing I can tell you regarding your seating is that be prepared for a slight echo.
2) The length sans intermission isn't a problem. You'd watch a movie for that long no problem, right? The structure of the play is much more like a movie structure than a play structure, so it would be really naff to try and shoehorn in a rubbishy intermission.
3) I'm 24 and almost 100% lacking in any interest in politics whatsoever, but I still found it a gripping and entertaining production. It's worth it for Frank Langella alone, believe me, although Michael Sheen is excellent too.
