Congrats to the entire cast and crew! So great to see an intelligent non-flashy musical can still be a hit on broadway. :)
So happy people are going to see this show

So thrilled this show is succeeding. I loved it so much. And its on all the top 10 lists too.
congratulations to them! a wonderful show. now when will we get sheet music???
Big congrats to the talented people who are involved with this show! They deserved this success! ![]()
It's at times like this that it is fun to take a trip down memory lane and revisit the hundreds of posts listing the manifold reasons that this show would not, could not possibly succeed. There really are no rules and in this case I couldn't be happier. Congrats to all involved.
To echo Hogan, it's thrilling that's there's a place for a show like this in the world of commercial theatre. Here's to a long and healthy run.
Hopefully this show is able to stick around for years to come!!! Great news.
What will be the second show from last season to recoup? An American In Paris? Something Rotten? Finding Neverland?

My bet's on American in Paris.

American In Paris is frequently in the million dollar club, so I think that's a safe bet. I don't know how well Rotten's doing compared to their weekly costs, and Finding Neverland isn't a blockbuster.
Thrilled to hear this! Any time an unconventional, beautiful show like this one becomes a hit, I think it can only do good things for Broadway. I would have to imagine An American in Paris isn't too far behind. Something Rotten and Finding Neverland are still making money but have been slipping lately and are probably a bit further behind.
As ALWAYS, good work is not a scarier bet than something with a vaguely familiar name. The flop graveyard of the 2000s is littered with movie titles and song catalogues.
I hope this sends a message.

Between the British production, the Boston production and then the mammoth Broadway production, Finding Neverland must have been incredibly expensive. I can't imagine they are close to recouping. Plus its probably very expensive to run.
