As a Patti fan, let me politely suggest to the LuPwners that the party's over.

The joke was lame to begin with, funny maybe the first time, and increasingly UN-funny each time it was repeated until, at last, it began to reflect badly on Patti herself.

My suggestion: Now is a good time to take a lesson from Kenny Rogers and know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em, know when to walk away and know when to run.

This is a good time to walk away, before you all seem even more shrill and desperate.

Start an RIP LUPWNERS thread and make that the end of it.

Not that this matters, but...

All I know is that they are going VERY young with casting... as in many of the guys in town who wanted to go in for this were turned down just because of age.

I say that whoever IS cast better sing the high note in MARIA and not do the optional. I want to hear this score SUNG... for real... and not in that bright, speak-singy way.

Reading through this thread, my take on it is that this TDH person is very immature. With 'friends' like that, who needs...?

Friends don't make things up. Friends also don't tell things they're not supposed to tell. (Okay, unless it's genuinely a matter of life or death, which certainly isn't the case here.) When any gossip, scoops, or outright lies, for the sake of some misguided sense of validation of one's self, become more important than one's friends, there's something sorely wrong.

I like Marc Shaiman. He's cool.

WOW things not true posted on this board? I find that hard to believe. Really I don't, it happens all the time, I don't know how they get away with it (likely because the board isn't really moderated) day in and day out. Well, only good thing is that people aren't censored here which I guess is good (because I have needed to tell people off here before) but sometimes, you do have to slap them down.
