Was anyone in attendance? I was curious as to hearing some of the reviews.
I was there and it was a magical experience. The cast was at the top of their game! Stephanie received a standing ovation at the end of "I'm Breaking Down." The entire audience was on fire and reacted to every little nuance of the show. William Finn was in attendance (getting to meet him was an extreme highlight for me) and he was quite emotional. The kid who play Jason seemed to be battling a cold. He coughed, discreetly, several times and his voice weakened throughout the evening, but he made it! At the end the audience leapt to their feet and cheered like a rock concert. The cast took their bows and then motioned the understudied out to take a final bow with them. Surprisingly, no speeches. Still, it was a special time to be there.
Saturday night Anthony's understudy was on since clearly Anthony had a cold

Anthony was wonderful at the closing performance! The cold in his voice (especially towards act two) sounded like he had more emotion, and my heart broken at how sad he looked through most of act two. That kid is crazy talented.
Anthony was still getting over his cold, but he sounded great and gave an amazing performance. "Trina's Song" and "The Games I Play" were extra emotional, and Betsy did a cute robot dance towards the end of "A Day In Falsettoland." Stephanie probably cried the most during "Trina's Song," and the pause between "Silly childish jerks" and "That said" was a bit longer than usual. I was also surprised that there wasn't a curtain call speech, but I loved that they brought all the understudies out. Bravo to the entire cast, and I look very forward to seeing whatever it is they do next.
Jason's understudy went on in the middle of act one on Friday. After a few minutes looking like a deer in headlights... he was fantastic. Hilarious and really touching.

Sunday was my first time seeing the show (and this is my first post) - but it felt very special. The audience was enthralled, including audible sobs throughout the last several songs. Although I have no point of comparison, the show was electrifying, and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it. I've been listening to the cast recording non-stop. Can't wait for the PBS broadcast.
There's rarely, if ever, a speech at closings of limited runs and short lived shows.

Not to thread hijack but was the Peyton Lusk debut performance on Friday? Or did Anthony miss any other shows?

Oh wow, I saw him at the Saturday matinee and would not have guessed it was his second performance - he did a great job!
Saw it Friday, the kid who did Saturday came in towards the end of Act One on Friday night. Stephanie better get to do Breaking Down on the Tony's.

My guess would be the Baseball Scene since the show is a lock for a Best Revival nom, which showcases the entire cast. (as was done 25 years ago). I agree, an actress nomination will have her name on it!
I think a Tony performance of any kind is highly unlikely to happen.
A Tony performance would be great, but like Cupid said, it won't happen.

But what if there's a Kickstarter?!
