When I snail mailed Adam, he sent back a signed headshot "To Nicholas, ALL THE BEST! Adam Pascal". I remember thinking "I'm touching a piece of paper Adam's palm was on. AHHHHHHHHH"
Then Kerry O'Malley PMed me at the Sondheim.com Message Board and we talked through there. She's very computer-friendly.

Posted: 9/28/03 at 3:15pmSarah Litzsinger wrote to me about 4 months later. Sutton replies to every dang person that writes to her (except for me) because she is the sweetest/coolest girl ever to hit Broadway. Updated On: 9/28/03 at 03:15 PM

Posted: 9/28/03 at 4:04pmDitto TheLast5Yrs on the Kerry/Sondheim.com PMing. She was very sweet. Other than that, I've never written/been written to by a Broadway performer.

If, um, Christmas/Birthday cards count... then, um, one. LOL.
I don't write to actors because I really never know what to say other than the cliche "You're super talented!" I mean, if you don't know them at all... really, what else CAN you say? I always attempt to write letters but they get very narcassistic. How much can you write about yourself... or how many questions can you really ask without it getting weird? LOL. I don't know, I just don't know how to write "fan" letters.

Posted: 9/28/03 at 8:44pmI snail mailed Bernadette Peters about 2 years ago, and it took about 4 months to get a response. I had asked for a signed picture, and her assistant wrote back to me, asking for a $10 donation to an animal fund. I happened to be going to Bernadette's last show of AGYG, and saw her husband putting Tiffany's bags into a silver Mercedes, and asked him if I could pop the donation and a little note into the bag, and he let me. About 3 weeks-a month later, I got a picture back (it was Bernadette's head shot at the time, 8x10 size) that read "To Christa, Love Bernadette Peters". Needless to say, I was very excited LOL

Posted: 9/28/03 at 8:49pmApparently, if that signature file is to be believed, Bernadette has changed the lyrics to "This time for ME, Christa." Is the character now Mama Christa? It has a certain ring to it!
