Hello! I saw the second preview and absolutely loved it. I tried the stage door after, but the cast were taking notes about the show, so no one came out. I was just curious if anyone has done the stage door for this. I’d love Mark to sign my playbill.
Thanks, Chris

I did it about a month ago. Melody Grove came out and talked with fans for awhile as did Iestyn Davies. I don't know about Iestyn and the cold weather, I think getting sick would be a disaster for him. A few of the others came out and finally Mark Rylance who took pictures. They didn't have sharpies so make sure you bring your own. It didn't seem like they were accustomed to stage dooring. I guess it's not a thing over there.

I assume the only reason anyone would be interested in this atrocious activity would be on account of Rylance. And I assume most people who know anything about him know the disdain in which he holds this activity.

Lol. That may be true, but he was very nice to all the people that waited for him.

Interesting. I met him after Boeing-Boeing, and was with my friend when she met him after Twelfth Night. Not only did he sign and take pictures, but he actually spent some time talking to the people who waited. Both times. So if that's true, he goes to some rather extreme lengths to hide it.

If he hated it as much at Hogan implies, he wouldn't do it. My son seldom wants to stage door, but he love Rylance to an extreme, so I'm guessing he might. I'm not a fan of the SD myself, but since we're staying in the city, it's not a big deal if he'd like to.
