Father/Son Play Same Role In Same Show - 35 Plus Years Later

I read somewhere that a revised production of Superman is starring David Cassidy in the same part his father Jack played in the same show back in the 60's.

This may be the first time this has happened unless someone can think of this happening before.

Victoria Mallory's daughter is currently playing Anne in A Little Night Music. That's the only one I can think of.

I believe Noel Harrison played Higgins at a few regional theatres throughout the 80's.

And Julian Holloway played Doolittle in the 90's Broadway revival of MY FAIR LADY.

Alisan Porter played Bebe in the revival of A CHORUS LINE. Her mother, Laura Klein, also performed the role (among others) in the original production.

I think it would be fun to see a father and son play the Father/Older Son and Young Son in Unexpected Tenderness.

It hasn't happened but in total wishful thinking - Mary Stuart Masterson would be great as Miss Mona in THE BEST LITTLE WHOREHOUSE IN TEXAS - the role that won her mother, Cariln Glynn the Tony and Olivier Awards.
