mine is either Billy Bigalo or John from Desperados (a very unseen show with GREAT songs and characters)no no no
Ann from Desperados is the best ever character, a maternal ex-prostitute who now cares for the showgirls

The best characters are Eponine from Les Mis and Millie Dillmount from Thoroughly Modern Millie.

Also, the Baker's Wife from Into the Woods. She's strong, smart, determined, and yet has weaknesses as well. She's a real person.

Gypsy was the first musical I ever saw and at six years old I'd sing "Some People" on the kitchen table and demand to be called Rose.
