If anyone is going to opening night, or has any playbills from broadway that they r willing to trade for other playbills/sell, I would pay for shipping and etc if u would mind grabbing me an extra playbill. It doesn't have to be signed, but will charge extra if it is. Thank you! cmmedeirosfam@yahoo.com

Posted: 4/27/09 at 12:32pmIf anyone is interested...there are a few tickets for Opening Night available on Ticketmaster in the last two rows of the Mezz. I just snagged me a pair.

Posted: 4/27/09 at 12:38pmUnless you buy it from playbill, there is not a way to KNOW that the playbill is from opening night. It's likely that all of the playbills this week will have the opening night date at the top of the title page.

Posted: 4/27/09 at 12:39pmDon't they have the little silver sticker on the Playbill?

Posted: 4/27/09 at 12:52pmNot at any opening night I've ever been to. Guess that's why they're so expensive on playbill.com. You're paying for the sticker and a plastic bag.

Real Opening Night Playbills have just writing at the top of the title page saying, "Opening Night: [date]."
The sticker is just a Playbill.com thing.
I'm sure the Opening Night Playbills are already being used. So if anyone went this weekend, or is going this week before the Opening, they can probably pick up an Opening Night Playbill.

My opening night playbills for LIZA'S AT THE PALACE have stickers on them.
However, my opening night playbills for THE WOMAN IN WHITE and EQUUS did not.

Yep, I can confirm this- went to 9 to 5 tonight (4.27), my Playbill says OPENING NIGHT APRIL 30, 2009 across the top of the title page.

Posted: 4/29/09 at 10:45pmI bought a ticket and I'm dying of excitement but I'm in a little bit of a pickle. What is the dress code for an opening night? Thanks in advance.

Posted: 4/30/09 at 12:04amUnless you're going to the after-party, you can wear jeans and a t-shirt. ESPECIALLY if you're sitting in the Mezzanine.
