original into the woods graphic was awsome with the trees turning into a wolf, also the color on that was great. spelling bee is funny, the graduate, with the zipper down the middle- thats a great graphic. wicked as a lot of people said, that works really well cause of the contrast- the aida graphic does that really well too. man, i love graphic design, dont you just wanna go to shows just to get the playbills sometimes? hey i have a question, whats the rule about a color playbill vs a black and white one? is there a specific time when they give u one or the other?

not sure if it counts, but the way they decorated the exterior of the Shubert for Spamalot is really cute! I love the Knights on the light-up Shubert sign.

Merrily We Roll Along is fantastic but I think Follies is gorgeous.
I love the DRS ads..but they remind me a little of the old ads for The Scarlet Pimpernel. "Murder, Blackmail, Deception....BRING YOUR MOTHER!" Of course I also liked though.
Speaking of posters...I love all the James McMullan posters like Piazza, Parade, etc. Also, I know they are ads or posters...but I always loved the Hirschfeld drawings for each of the Broadway shows.

Anything Cameron Makintosh produced. The advertising is very simple and unique.
<==== Carrie poster/playbill. At the bottom it said "there has never been a musical like her!" The TV ads were great too. (I dont know how to post a pic here, sorry.)
Sweeney Todd is still my favorite, the original and there have been some great ones for other productions...present production in Philly, I think, has a barber sign with the red stripes as dripping blood...pretty cool.
Hairspray! It's colorful, interesting, and catches your attention.

I really liked one of the most recent ads in the NY Times for Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. It was on Father's Day and it said "Half off for all fathers! (Clerical collar must be worn)" or something like that. Fabulous. Their ads are always great.

"Wicked", "Rent", "Chess" (the scattered checkerboard), and "The Phantom of the Opera" (the mirror glass shard letters).

HAHA! Poddle in the Piazza. Ow my stomach I'm laughing so hard.
But anyway. Les Mis. I think it catches your attention because it's unique and sad. Which reminds me of the Forbidden Broadway lyrics about "rich folks pay $20 for a shirt, that has a starving pauper on it" or something. Hehe.

not the logo/ poster or anything but theres a sign on the back side of the imperial theater that cracked me up it reads ****** (in the cast) although all of their ads rock (i'm partial to the one of john and norbert on the moped, especially since theres one in time square right by the all shook up logo)
The Amour poster above is beautiful. And I must say that the Public Theater's somewhat ubiquitous As You Like It ads are ugly- ugly font (letters are too thin) in ugly colors, and the show is nice and deserves much better.
I am a fan of the All Shook Up billboard in Times Square. I think that their playbill is also fun.
I like the Rent poster with Antonique, Cary and Trey and I also like the Altar boyz ad with teh five boyz that is made to look like its a stained glass window - very creative.
LES MIZ, CATS, MISS SAIGON and PHANTOM OF THRE OPERA. Now- I also think the CHICAGO ad campaign is awesome and sexy and spot on.
SPAMALOT and INTO THE WOODS were/are lovely, too.
THE SECRET GARDEN was simply gorgeous.
THE ODD COUPLE art is fabulous.
DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS has a great ad campaign going.

CATS (As much as I hate it, I love the logo)
Phantom
RENT (The new and old ones)
Sweeney Todd
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels
Sweet Charity
I'm sure there are many more that I forgot to put.
I like the original EVITA logo. I just like the glorification concept of it.
And I agree with the PIAZZA logo of Clara running into the light, looking silhouetted. So beautiful, which is a very good way to describe the show itself...
I like Pippin, Dreamgirls, and Follies a lot.

I love the Light in the Piazza cd cover, it's so beautiful.
Phantom- so simple yet so effective. Whenever you see that little white mask you know exactly what it is.
Sweeney Todd revival is really cool
I also love the Wicked one it's just so cool!
