Okay, J.- since you don't seem to understand how people see your statements (regardless of their intent), let me tell you what I saw.
When you said you liked the curtain call and finale songs, I took you at your word.
When you said you had actually never seen the show, I was pissed. What exactly is the point of that kind of BS? This is a thread for people's opinions on Caroline, or Change. If you can't contribute, post somewhere else.
When you said "that woman" it implied a certain kind of disrespect. Once again, this is a thread about Caroline, or Change. If you're going to post here, know the name of the extremely talented, hard-working, Tony-winning star. Tonya Pinkins. Remember that.
Do you sense a pattern in people's reactions to your posts? How many negative reactions is it going to take before you realize that maybe it's not so strange? That maybe it's the poster, and not the reader, that is the cause?
I have nothing against you, J. But sometimes your posts are so careless and full of BS they just piss me off. I only speak for myself, but there it is.
You got it all wrong. I'm joking around when I say "I've never seen this show, but I do not like it." I don't bitch at poeple when they come the WICKED threads and make fun of it. So what is the problem? Why is it so different when "I" joke aorund. A lot of people on this board do it. If I had said THE woman, would that have been better? IM SORRY IM SORRY IM SORRY.
I cant stop listening to I Hate the Bus
Best song in the show..

I have not seen the show and know who that lady is.
I am a big fan of Jeanine Tesori, (loving Millie and Violet) and I think this score is brilliant. I saw the show off-broadway, with the subways rolling all around the theater. But I loved it. And Tonya Pinkins IS amazing and I thought her performance on the Tonys was nothing short of stunning.

Oy. I'm sorry, too, J. I shouldn't have burst out like that.
I love this show!
My favorite songs are:
I Hate the Bus
Lot's Wife
I Got Four Kids
Epilogue
I saw this show on my last trip to NY and fell in love with it. In fact, it made up for my Fiddler experience the night before (I learned not to let my sister choose a show). My favorites on the OBCR are Lot's Wife, I Hate the Bus, and Epilogue.
