If one is citing music only then there is Turkey Lurkey Time from Promises and Tick Tock from Company.
Music, staging and choreography--Who's That Woman in the original Follies.

Posted: 2/8/05 at 4:41pmI think I like Oklahoma! the best... out of the show, I think I like the Farmer and the Cowmen... But I love the revival version, because the dancing is just amazing. I think that Will Parker and Ado Annie are my favorite people to watch in the show.

Posted: 2/8/05 at 4:45pmI don't think La Cage is a dance-oriented show, so the huge dance break in the title song. Just...wow. Even if you don't like the show, you have to love the Cagelles.

i think the original intention of this thread was for members to post their favorite dance breaks from non-dancing oriented musicals.
example: "WEST SIDE STORY" and "A CHORUS LINE" both rely heavily on dance so they are considered dance oriented
"WICKED" and "PROMISES, PROMISES" don't rely on dance (but do have some dancing in them) and are considered non-dance oriented
people are just posting whatever they feel like it.
