If not WICKED then i must say Little Shop of Horrors, YAGMCB, Into the Woods, and of course Hairspray ... You Can't Stop the Motion of the ocean... oh sorry

Les Miserables. It's been my all-time favourite for years and years, and still moves me like no other musical does. But musicals are so much about your current mood and interests, so it's hard to pick just one. Here's my current top five:

Hedwig and the Angry Inch
Avenue Q
Hairspray
Sunday in the Park with George

I don't have a favorite, per se, but there are musicals that have left a lasting impression on me and greatly influenced my appreciation of musical theatre. Some are the following:

Rent
The Last Five Years
Chicago
Ragtime
Caroline, or Change


Just to name a few.
