It's a toss up between Les Miserables and Chicago, but if I had to go by cast recordings I would probably say Nine too only because I have never saw it. The music is wonderful though.

that is an impossible question. my favorite musical is Hedwig and the Angry Inch, but if we're just talking broadway here, it's a tossup between Cabaret and Tommy.

Three consecutive votes for Nine...Guess I'm going to have buy that CD; it's been teetering on the edge of my "to buy" list for a long time, but I hadn't heard too much talk about it.

My all-time favorite has to be Les Mis with West Side Story a close second.

In general baby! I loved the revival though and thought they recorded it beautifully. My love for it had nothing to do with Antonio, or any star. I just love the music.
