Favorite PLAYBILL BWAY YEARBOOK Moments#0

In the scapbook section of the Playbill Broadway yearbook, what are you favorite parts?

I think "Light in the Piazza" takes the cake both years with the backstage banter that goes on. Also Phantom's "B.I.T.C.H" saying for the understudies. Plus I had a good time reading about all the FOOD involved in "Barefoot in the Park."

What are your favorite moments?

Who was the "correspondent" for Barefoot in the Park?

Where are we going, and why am I in this handbasket?

Agreed...the "Piazza" commentary by the two Davids (who were dressing-roommates at the Beaumont)- last year Burnham, this year Bonanno - are a highlight of this book. But there are many wonderful show scrapbooks in both editions..this is a book you just can't put down. It is GREAT!

Fantab, it was Donna Lynne. She answered like every question, and some of the answers are quite amusing. re: Favorite PLAYBILL BWAY YEARBOOK Moments

I just got it from the library a few days ago so I haven't been able to really look through it yet, but I also really liked some of the kids' answers from TCP.

Could anyone possibly scan some photos of this book? I would be very grateful.

tell me more, tell me more...how much dough did he spend?

Re: BITP...weren't all the principals pretty busy folks so "hanging out" probably didn't fit into their schedules. I mean, the tech didn't say they weren't nice to each other, just that they didn't socialize...right? I mean...I'm hoping the cast was congenial.
I enjoyed their on-stage chemistry and assumed they had a pleasant working relationship with each other.

There's a whole chapter on "Hairspray" and it's got DiGarmo's headshot.

I'm sure they would NOT be happy if you scanned pix from it, but there are quotes from some of the "correspondents" at

I liked when DLC said when taking places, she and some of the other Sweeney actors would sometimes look through the rips in the curtain to see who was there.
