Urban I LOVE YOU
I agree- the drummer plays way to loud!
Popular, but only when Kristin sings it.
Defying Gravity.
Always has, always will be (Unless Stephen Schwartz has some clever way to fit, "The Light in the Piazza" somewhere in there... Too bad previews have been finished for a very long time.)
First off, how old are we? Do we really need to kick the dead horse and keep making fun of wicked? Wow...
Defying Gravity without a doubt.
"Defying Gravity", but only when seeing it live. I don't think it's that fantastic to just hear, but seeing it on stage is awesome. Other than this, I love "For Good" and "The Wizard and I"... "No Good Deed" is pretty cool too!

"As Long As Your Mine"
Am I the only one? lol
As Long As You're Mine (or S'long, as I call it), What Is This Feeling and Popular, which I sing with my best friend heartily. She also bought me a pink iPod mini to complement her green one. Is this sad?
(And JFTR, can we also turn this into a minor hate thread against all of the Wizard's songs and Something Bad?)
You all continue to complain about hating the Wicked threads, well then you saw the Title involved Wicked, save time and don't read it. If you had all the time back that you spelt posting nasty things on here, you could right a frickin' novel.
My favorite song is Defying Gravity, as sung by Idina Menzel and Krisitn Chenoweth, and my favorite song involving the current cast is No Good Deed, as sung by Shoshana Bean, and Popular, as sung by Megan Hilty.
I'll bite. The Wizard and I. If whoever's my Elphaba can wow me on that then I'm won over for the entire show.
"The Wizard and I" as performed by Ana Gasteyer
I like "I'm not that girl" because it's the only decent sounding ballad in the show that doesn't go on about skybirds and comets and all that crap.

Let's see, Defying Gravity(esp.Idina, Eden, or Sho). My favorites always change, but I always revert back to Defying Gravity. I also like As Long As You're Mine and No Good Deed. I honestly love all of the songs. Stephen Schwartz is such a taleneted man. Pair that with extremely talented casts, and it's really something magical. I'm not a teeny bopper, I'm intelligent, and I do love other shows, but Wicked is probably my favorite musical. Don't yell at me I'm allowed to have an opinion! I'm also allowed to voice my opinion, because I do it coherently. I'm not afriad to say that I love Wicked and all of the music in it!
...Oh, Wicked Witch of the East is up there on my list, too. It's too bad it didn't get recorded.
depends on the performer
norbert's dancing through life
sean mccourt's wonderful
stephanie j. block's no good deed
ana gasteyer's defying gravity
and megan hilty's popular spring to mind
"For Good" - it's now a code word between me & my Mom.

no one mourns the wicked.
seriously, why do people hate this show? i actually want to know.
The Wizard and I
Defying Gravity
"Defying Gravity" for its power
"Thank Goodness" for its sincerity
"The Wizard and I" for its hopefulness
and "Popular" for its comedy
Awww Jimmeriae, that is sweet.
Defying Gravity, either Idina or Ana. (Not that I have heard Ana *coughlimewirecough*)
I LOVE me some Wicked, but this thread is POINTLESS! This is NOT a Wicked message board, so please stop filling it up with all your crap ramblings.
I'm sorry, but this is really starting to bug me now.
PS - Defying Gravity all the way, also; No Good Deed, Popular, ALAYM, and For Good.

to reply to you matthew... i think people "hate" this show because it is so popular... at least it seems to me that people hate it because clearly their tastes must be more distinguishing than those common folk.
god forbid we take a break and just enjoy things!
"Defying Gravity"
i've noticed that defying gravity loses something if the morrible is lackluster. Unless that Wiiiiicked witch speech is truly scary the rest of the song is more throwaway.
case in point i cracked up hearing rue's speech followed by megan having to say "don't be afraid"

It is one thing to talk about a popular show it is another thing to make a new post ever time a effing understudy comes or everytime Idina takes a dump.
