question to Wiicked x3 .. your first favorite quote is "i got the book". where in the show does that quote come from..i dont think ive ever heard it or found..it funny..maybe cuz ive never heard it..and its driving me nuts.. ? lol
I saw the first show after the Tony's when Avenue Q beat them to it. So when they're on the bed in the middle of Popular before "Oh Miss Elphaba, you're beautiful", Cheno reflects it in the spotlight all over the audience and goes:
"Oh, it looks just like a Tony!"
My favorite non-ad-lib line was "Well we can't all come and go by BUBBLE!", a old favorite.

my favorite quote is:
i may have many friends but only one that matters

my other favorite is:
now you wait just one clock tick. i know it may be hard for that blistful, blonge, brain of yours to comprehend that someone like him could actually choose someone like me. but it's happened... it's real and you can wave tat rediculous wand all you want you can't change it. he never loved you and he never did! he loves me =D

Yeah I had a feeling I was going to have to explain this in the future:
During Dancing Through Life when Fiyero starts off by saying "So, what does one do for fun around here." Galinda-"Nothing, until now." Boq-"We've been studying." Fiyero- Well, it seems the responsibility to corrupt my fellow students falls to me, fourtuantly i'm up for the task." Then the song starts. But when Boq says "We've been studying." He holds up a green little book to give proof that he studys. Right after that Fiyero sings a little bit, looks through the book then takes the book and throws it to the right of him. Boq runs to go get it, then when he comes back with it he says "I got the book!!"
Yay, i just made a cute little story.

I just want to ask something: Do you think Avenue Q deserved the Tony for best musical?
I don't. Wicked should have won.
I don't even remember what shows were up for it that year.

Eh, out of that list I don't think either one of thems hould have got it. I would've picked Caroline, or Change.

My favorite is not a quote at all: it was ad libbed when Kristin accidentally broke the wand during "Popular":
"It's a training wand anyway."

I love the quote :"This must be what other people feel like, HOW DO THEY BEAR IT?!"
I memorized the script, so that's why i'm basically posting everything.
Ooooh, ad libs count?
"Deoderant Elphie. No one likes a stinky witch!"
See below!
and yes avenuq q deserved the tony because there's not much wrong with it. Even though wicked is a good, it's got quite a few flaws.

"This must be what other people feel like, how do they bare it?"
"Madame, how do you think you'll fare in captivaty?"
"Captivaty, my personal opinon is you dont have what it takes, I hope you prove me wrong, I doubt you will!"
Glinda: Is that the Griimerie? (Whispered) Can I tough it?
Madame Morrible: (Whispered): No.

Mme. Morrible: "Oh, and you must be the governers daughter! Yes! Ms. Nessarose is it? Oh! What a tragically beautiful face you have!"
(Turns around to Elphaba)
Mme. Morrible: "And you must be.."(Snorts)
Elphaba: "I'm the other daughter, Elphaba, i'm beautifully tragic."
Mme. Morrible: "Well, i'm sure your very bright!"
Galinda: "Bright?! She's phospheresent!" (sp)

Can someone explain why she says, "Poof. Look, it's tomorrow." I don't understand that line.
I like the line when she can't change the frock into a ballgown. "Just wear the frock it's pretty."
When I saw the show, Megan never said poof. I think the "Look, it's tomorrow" bit is jsu tbecause she realized how late it was.

in the scene in the bedroom, kristin chenoweth was dancing around (right before popular) and the microphone made a little bit of a noise. she immediately clutched her stomach and said, "sorry! i guess i had too much turkey yesterday!"
