"Comfort and Joy" from Bat Boy. A "duh" answer for those who know me, but there you are!

Also: "One Day More" from Les Mis.

With no comment on the cheesiness or pop-culture factor, "The Gods Love Nubia" really got my blood pumping in AIDA.

'One Day More' - 'Les Miserables'!
'Go Go Go Joseph' - 'Joseph And The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat'
'La Vie Boheme B' - 'RENT'

And sometimes I like 'Bright New Day' from 'Blood Brothers', but lately, it's been far too slow and jazzy for my tastes. I prefer bright and poppy. Go back to the old ways!!!

I lov "One Day More" from Les Miserables and "Climb Ev'ry Mountain" from The Sound of Music but I think the best end of act one is the fight in West Side Story.

"A Little Priest" is the greatest Act I closer second only to "Everything's Coming Up Roses."
Although there is a reprise of "June is Bustin Out All Over" at the end of Carousel's first act, "Soliloquy" is pretty much the last song in Act I and is wonderful. It's the greatest male solo written for the musical theater.

You're reminding me of people you hear at the movies asking questions every ten seconds, "Who is that? Why is that guy walking down the street? Who's that lady coming up to him? Uh-oh, why did that car go by? Why is it so dark in this theater?" - FindingNamo on strummergirl

"They say that just being relaxed is the most important thing [in acting]. I take that to another level, I think kinda like yawning and...like being partially asleep onstage is also good, but whatever." - Sherie Rene Scott
