Favourite(or Least Favourite) Moment

What is everyone's favourite and least favourite moment in a musical? My favourite moment is when the Beast in BATB transforms along with Marius kissing Eponine goodbye after ALFOR. My least favourite moment is the ending of Phantom when the Phantom vanishes. It is an incredible moment, no doubt, but it leaves you in a state of utter confusion. So, I've gone, now it's everyone elses turn!

Favorite Moment: When the overature begins in Phantom of the Opera

Least Favorite: the last line of MY FAIR LADY. It is so anti-climatic.

Favorite: "Epiphany" in Sweeney Todd
Least favorite: About 10 minutes or so into Dracula, as I gradually realized that it wasn't going to be quite as good as I thought...

Oh, I love the overture of Phantom of the Opera, especially with the curains going up to the show!

One of my favorite moments is in Cats, when Gus the Theatre Cat sings the end of his song:

These modern productions are all very well, but there's nothing to equal from what I hear tell, that moment of mystery, when I made history...

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

I have two...My favorite moment in a musical is at the very beginning of Cabaret when the Kit Kat Klub girls and boys warm up.
The other one is in Gypsy after Rose sings "Everything's Comin Up Roses".

GYPSY
When Rose makes her entrance. "Sing out, Louise!" Bernadette made me shrivel up and die in my seat.
Runner up would be that Overture.

Least favorite. Well. I'm not sure what takes the cake, but the moment in Joseph when the Elvis Pharoah does his spiel is pretty bad.

Favorites:
The Act 1 & Act 2 Finales of Secret Garden gives me chills everytime without fail
Defying Gravity is a powerful "moment"

Least Favorite:
the end of King and I

Favorites: The drumroll that began Cabaret, when Radames dropped to his knees singing Elaborate Lives in Aida.

Least favorite? Not sure.

I always got chills when Fantine starts the section,"My Cosette.."
Valjean: "Shall live in my protection."

Too many favorites to actually list, but ones that come to mind now are:

The overture of PHANTOM.

Entering the lair (with the boat, candles, etc.) in PHANTOM.

"Empty chairs and empty tables" in LES MIZ.

Least favorite:

Roof scene in PHANTOM ("All I Ask of You") gets tiring after a while.

End of Act 1 in Les mis - it's so powerful

Least:
The opening of phantom - because it's only the beginning of a long 2+ hrs

my favorite moment: When heartbreaking moment when Roger sings "MIMIIIIIIIIIIIIII~" thinking she died.

My least favorite moment: When she comes back to life. (Sorry for the spoiler).

ok i have to do one from each show i think. well for some shows.

Wicked- Defying Gravity is really great. I also LOVE no good deed. and dancing through life. and when glinda comes out for the first time in the bubble- well- basically everything
i only didnt like part where Chistery gets his wings- it was a little weird.

Rent- I love Angel and his dance, Out tonight, and LVB. I dont really like SOV very much- its a good song, but it feels like it was shoved in there @ the last second.

Little Shop- Love Mushnik and Son. Didnt like the very end of Act I.

AQ- LOVED all the songs and puppets and puppeteers. They were all hilarious. and the show was really funny. i didnt like the part with the wedding and huge kate monster baby.

ill do more later maybe

Mufasa's head in the pool of water appearing above Simba.
When the back wall flew up in "Cabaret."
Javert's suicide.
"Phantom's" overture when the fabrics fall and the theatre is restored.
The "I am nothing..." chords mixed with "Hail to the Chief" that plays after Oswald shoots Kennedy.
"Les Miz's" Act 1 finale.
The final tableu in act 1 in "Rent" with Mark's small monologue, Mimi and Roger's kiss, and the police lights.

~The overture of CATS, especially when the cast comes out with their light-up glasses
~the Gus/Growltiger segment in CATS
~The finale for "Les Mis"
~"You Can't Stop The Beat" from Hairspray
~the overture for POTO
~"The Nuttycracker Suite," "Gimme Gimme" and the title number in TMM
~the "Something There"/"Human Again" seegment in B&tB

Least favorites:
~everything in "The Lion King" past Zazu and Scar's first scene
~all of "Mamma Mia"
~"Little People" in Les Mis...in my opinion, the show's only flaw

Favorite The ending sequence in Les Mis
Least Favorite In Rent, when Benny makes good with the gang. It played awkwardly everytime I saw it. Once it even drew a couple of unintentional snickers from the audience.

Favorite - The end of contact. In RENT. I.. there are no words.

Least favorite - The phrase... Something Bad... comes to mind.

This is not a spoiler, but since very few of you have seen Little Women I'll just say that it is in case you don't want to know any thing about the show before you see it.

*Spoiler* (not)
When Jo and the Professor are kissing at the end and Marmee walks on and Jo pushes the Professor away and turns him around. I love that part!

Defying Gravity and For Good.

When the Witch in Into the Woods goes into the floor at the end of "Last Midnight."
