Seeing her perform in two shows from the other week - it didn't seem as if she was suffering from her current medical condition, as she gave it her all and more. Maria is a real trouper!

Sending all my thoughts and prayers to Maria. I had heard she was going to have to start over with surgery and healing. That just breaks my heart. The Woman in White is so lucky to have such a trooper working for them. She is such an asset to the show and an inspiration to theatre in general. Get well soon Maria! We all know you will beat this!

Oh, please. Why is it in poor taste? Did I say that she should take over? No. Did I say anything negative about Maria? No. It's a topic that has been discussed pretty much everywhere since it was announced that Tim had been cast in Rent. Seriously, why the ouch? Do you honestly think that Maria Friedman is reading this forum and is getting your 'wishes'?

Ouch, because regardless of what point you were trying to make, it was still wrong. While what you say may absolutely be true, for all we know, it was still a bit harsh to come in here and say that while everyone else is giving their good wishes, whether Maria's actually reading them or not.
