Fellow Spring Awakening Fans and Fellow Guitarists......In Need of Some Help Here

Hey All,

So I'm in need of a little help here. I'm a guitarist, and I just figured out some of the chords for "Left Behind" and "And Then There Were None" and I need some help figuring out the rest of the chords. I know the chords in LB and ATTWN for the verses. What I need to figure out is: for LB the chords for "A shadow passed, a shadow passed. Yearning, yearning" and for ATTWN the chords for "You wanna laugh thats too absurd. You start to ask cant hear a word. You're gonna crash and burn,right tell me more" and for "They're not my home not anymore. Not like they so were before. Still I'll split and they'll like, well who knows? who knows? who knows?" Now I know that the chords are listed in the vocal selections. But as a guitarist, I believe that some of the chords listed in there are wrong. Also I know there is a TAB on the internet for LB. However Tabs are useless to me, as they do not list the chord diagrams, Im looking for the chords.

I WISH they would post a Spring Awakening guitar book. None of the internet tabs are accurate at all. For the Left Behind chords you're looking for, it's not chords being played but individual notes. I have the notes if you want, if you can read music.

The individual notes being played in LB is whats supposed to be the picking pattern on the guitar, which is structured by the chord. Hence why I need the chord, lol. If you can figure out what the chords are for me based on the the picking pattern, we'll be in business. Wish I could read music.

Good luck trying to figure the pattern of notes out by the chords. There's a LOT of add2 and really complicated chords. It'd probably be easier to learn how to read music. lol.

I could write it in tabs if that works. Totally agree with grandpianoalex. Not only for this instance, but in general.

Yeah, the guitar book for the show, and especially for "Left Behind," would probably have the notes written out. The chords in the vocal selections shouldn't be too far off. If you have the vocal selections, use the given chord symbols as reference and pay attention to the piano part for the proper voicing.
