Female Comedic Monologues???

Okay, here goes: research theatrical comedies on the Internet. Find their plot synopses and characters on Wikipedia. Find at least five characters from five different plays that, based on what you read, you think you could play well, and true to type, in an actual production. Find and read the actual plays to see if you were right.

Also, keep in mind that you can splice together different lines, even lines from different scenes, to CREATE a monologue if the character doesn't have one or one to your liking.

And don't do anything super-famous.
