Fight Club musical- still ongoing?

I just rewatched Fight Club today: it made me feel uneasy in the best way. Rather than just hypothetical, the downward spiral of toxic masculinity and radicalization that the film presented so satirically has become a real world phenomenon. This is a dark, prescient movie that isn’t as “fun” as it seemed in the late nineties, but that’s a selling point.

Is the musical still in development? I know Trent Reznor was writing it for Julie Taymor shortly before his ascent to Hollywood scoring royalty.

Omg. I’d have loved to have seen Christian Borle & Patrick Wilson in this. And Julie Taymor & Reznor? Count me in for Jack’s Big Homophombic/Homoerotic American Musical! Get Sutton Foster in as Marla, book Korins & the Beetlejuice design team. And please, let’s get Brad Garrett for Bob. Done.
