So I’m headed into NYC in June for a quick weekend trip. I’m already seeing Three Tall Women and Once on This Island during that time, but have two spots left to fill. Of the following, what would you choose?
Chicago (never seen it on stage, only the film)
Kinky Boots
Mean Girls (Only thought the film was so-so)
The Iceman Cometh
Wicked (never seen it, but only a couple songs from the album grab me)
The Boys in the Band
I’ve seen most other major players at this point, save for Frozen and Harry Potter, neither of which interest me. I’ve never seen Carousel but the reports here have been fairly discouraging, so that’s pretty much fallen off my list. Should any of these shoot to the top of the list, or be eliminated entirely?
Curious why you're not interested in MY FAIR LADY, THE BAND'S VISIT, or ANGELS IN AMERICA, all of whom will surely be Tony winners by then.

I've already seen them all (and I agree, they were all incredible) :)
Of your list, I'd put WICKED and THE B0YS IN THE BAND at the top. TBITB is a stab in the dark, but the cast and director suggest it could be an amazing night. WICKED might be the last of the original (non-Disney) musicals to receive a proper mega-production-- large-scale sets and costumes by the hundreds, some witty, some hideous, but luxurious nonetheless. I've seen WICKEDs that left me unmoved and WICKEDs that brought well-earned tears-- can't vouch for this cast. But in the right hands, this show packs a wallop.
If you haven't seen "Kinky Boots," then, yes, do. I loved it, and so have the friends I've taken to it since I first saw it, and those who've seen in based on my recommendation.
"Chicago" may be dusty, but well worth seeing on stage. And you should be able to get a relatively cheap ticket.
I haven't seen "Wicked" since it was in previews a million years ago. Enjoyed it, but never have had the desire to see it again.
Have fun!
I'd do Kinky and Boys from that list, although not sure who will even be in Kinky in June... but then again, no one knows who will be in Chicago or Wicked then either (I don't think, I don't really follow those shows)

WICKED, for the “Defying Gravity” scene alone makes it worth it, but songs like “I’m Not That Girl”, “Popular”, and “No One Mourns the Wicked” at the finale are all wonderful. The rest like “Dancing Through Life”, “One Short Day” as it explodes on stage, and “No Good Deed” are better in person.
Loved the entire show from start to finish.
I would definitely check out Chicago if you have not seen it yet. While I loved Mean Girls, I couldn't say I would recommend it if you were not a fan of the film.
