Finding Nemo Disney Broadway Musical?

I read somewhere, that they are thinking of doing at Broadway Musical of Finding Nemo? If so, that should be intersting, but its all underwater lol! Anyone hear this?

Finding Nemo is being put on as a musical in Disney world or land. With music by Robert Lopez and his wife. There is a clip on the site that cannot be name. just search for Finding Nemo.

Finding Nemo musical will be opening at Disney's Animal Kingdom...

"Featuring original songs by Tony Award-winning “Avenue Q” composer Robert Lopez and a cappella musical “Along the Way” composer Kristen Anderson-Lopez, “Finding Nemo -- The Musical” will immerse Walt Disney World guests in the story of Marlin and Nemo, an overprotective clownfish father and his curious son, through a dazzling production that combines puppets, dancers, acrobats and animated backdrops."

Newsies is already a stage show, they just need to put it physically ON Broadway, and there you go. And Finding Nemo might be the worst idea ever, even though I liked the movie.

It'll probably be a fairly good theme park show. But on Broadway...no.
Disney seems to be going a tad bit Nemo-crazy. The Submarine Voyage in Disneyland is being Nemo-fied, there's a lame interactive show at California Adventure that's going to EPCOT now and EPCOT's marine life exhibit is getting a new Nemo attraction. Plus this show. Wow.

... which suggests we may be seeing STILL FINDING NEMO, direct to DVD in time for Christmas.

NEMO on Broadway? Not a chance. But hey, pretty soon theyll run out of properties they *can* put onstage, and then we'll be seeing FINDING NEMO and BROTHER BEAR as Broadway shows at $150 a seat.

Theaterdude87 is right. Kate Wetherhead was Nemo in a workshop a while ago, but nothing else has come out of that. I didn't know about Jennifer Simard, though!

It Will Only Be At WDW. Disney Theatricals Is Releasing The Little Mermaid On Broadway Within The Next Two Years After It's Denver Run Next Year. It Will Be On Broadway Once A Large Scale Theater Opens Due To The Magnitude Of The Show.
