I loved it, and I don't accept the idea that if I love a show you hate, then I have bad taste in musical theatre. I've seen tons of shows. I hated Gigi and didn't care for Something Rotten, while others swear by those shows. It was a great night of entertainment and I haven't stopped humming the songs in a long while.

I adored it!! I saw 10 shows in a week on my last trip to NY and Finding Neverland was my absolute favourite! I was expecting Something Rotten to be my favourite as that was the one i was most excited to see (and my reason for the trip) but it comes in at a close second behind Finding Neverland. We saw it from the front row and the atmosphere from there was just incredible! My heart was pounding all through Stronger and i sobbed my way through the entire 2nd half!

Im really hoping its still open when i come back in October as i really want to see it again!

My heart was pounding through "Stronger" onstage too. Folks who only saw the unexplained spectacle out of context on the Tonys would have no idea what a wellspring of emotion surrounds the number as the glorious culmination of Act I onstage. Barrie is at a crossroads suffering from writers' block at that point, and out of whole cloth conceives the idea of the arch villain Hook from his own fears and nightmares. The storm at sea that surrounds him is metaphorical and glorious, and the pirate sails and plank to walk are a thrilling actualization of the turmoil in his head.

I too was in one of the front rows toward the side, and the sight of the ensemble scrambling up the those nets put such a huge grin on my face-- the perfect combo of all the theater arts onstage at one moment.

I saw it twice..one during an early preview and once after it was "set". I enjoyed it, the person I brought with me second time out loved it...

Do I think it's the best musical ever written and produced? No..but that's ok. Not everything needs to be the "best" or "totally innovative" or "ground breaking".  I still enjoyed it thoroughly. There were some slow moments but other moments that were amazing and quite moving.

It wasn't my favorite show this past season but it was no where near the bottom of my list either.

Not nearly as terrible as some here makes it out to be, but it's not particularly good, no.
