Hi! I was wondering what would be a good startout for me for a first Broadway Debut. I'm 14 now, maybe when I'm 18 or something, I was thinking of CATS. Would that be OK? Or do you guys have any other good suggestions? Thanks so much! God Bless! $$$***Natalie_Jemima***$$$

I'm a little confused, too. You do know that CATS closed, right? And it won't be revived any time in the next decade.
WICKED
She is either asking at what age she should see her first Broadway show, or at what age she should grace us with her presence as a performer on the wicked stage (and NO that is not a reference to Wicked).

Bless your heart, Natalie Jemima. Did you mean what show is appropriate for you to make your Broadway debut in or what Broadway show should you see first? By the way, Cats closed a few years ago.

Oh, well, there was a performance of CATS at the Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre in AZ, where I live.MorjaniD, I ment the first thing you asked.God Bless! $$$***Natalie_Jemima***$$$
Don't EXPECT to be on Broadway, dear. If you're good enough to get there, you'll get there.
It doesn't quite work that way, Natalie. You don't get to pick the show. You go on hundreds of auditions for hundreds of different shows and if you are lucky, you will get cast and make your debut.
I thought this thread was a joke. But yeah, you don't exactly choose the show you debut in, if you even debut in anything at all.
At first, I wanted to laugh, but then when I thought about it, doesn't this show how much we have to learn about theatre as a career on our own? There really just are not enough resources out there.

Thanks, everyone! I'll go ahead and see what would come ahead for me. $$$***Natalie_Jemima***$$$
