I was just going to say assuming this gets good reviews it has to transfer, right?

I couldn't imagine better casting for this play right now. These two would also be magnificent in The Goat, but that is asking for too much of a good thing. I'm only sorry they won't be running at the same time as Tarantino's play, because I doubt I can afford two trips to London within such a short time. I'll be taking one of those trips, though. No doubt at all about that.

Interesting to see what Elliot does with this. I feel like I've only ever seen her work really big with musicals and her work on "Cock" i think was divisive.

I have never booked tickets so fast before! This will definitely be one of the most anticipated shows of the fall in London!

I've never been so happy for a December business trip in all my life (though not 100% true, cause I saw The Bridge's Into the Woods last December). Got my ticket!

I could see this transferring to New York...but perhaps not Broadway. Anderson has been reluctant to stay put in the US for long periods of time for work. I have to imagine it would be a good 6 month commitment on Broadway, between rehearsals and a long enough run to recoup. Based on past behavior, I'm not holding my breath that she would want to uproot her London life for that long.
Her production of Streetcar Named Desire transferred to St. Ann's Warehouse, and I think that place or a similar Off-Broadway company with a shorter run would be more likely. In any case, crossing my fingers it lands SOMEWHERE stateside because I cannot afford a London trip right now.

If it comes to Broadway and Gillian Anderson chooses not to come with it,I wonder how Katrina Lenk would be as the female lead. She's worked with Elliot before and she's a great dramatic actress too. She has done some plays as well as musicals, though mainly off-Broadway.

She did Angels in America."
Also The Curious Incident of the Dog In The Night Time and War Horse. All three of these were highly theatrical productions. Maybe the intimacy of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? is a challenge she's been looking for.

Can’t blame her for avoiding ‘murica.

She was amazing in "Indecent". Saw it at The Cort.
