Hi, all!
Just curious what the consensus was on this one. My summer's been swamped hence me being MIA. Was just wondering if the general consensus was "go see it if you get a chance" vs. "go see it 'cause it's closing Sunday." lol
If it's the former, would September be 'too late'? How is it holding up since opening? I know the preview period was kind of wishy-washy from the reviews on here...
Any insight appreciated.
Thanks!

I honestly had a good time. If you have the time definitely go see it! Although I would not pay full price for this show. I'm not sure if their still doing this but when I went ALL balcony seats were 35$. Pretty good deal if you ask me. It's just a simple fun show. You'll get some laughs. Have fun!
Went with a group of girlfriends, and it was the perfect show for that kind of outing. The music was so-so, but we laughed the entire time. I'd say, see it!
I agree with Mike Barrett. It's a very fun show, with a lot of quirky humor. I found myself laughing a lot while watching it. It has its weak moments but I do think it's worth seeing.
Regarding your question on when is "too late." Others are free to correct me, but I expect it WILL make it through September. I don't think it will run for very long, but I think it has just enough star power and word of mouth to last until then, if not longer. That's just my opinion.

Limelight, even the critics who didnt like it said the audience was rolling in the aisle!
Welcome back Limelight! =)
I would say go for it! It was harmless, silly fun. Both Levi and Rodriguez are great.
The reason to see it is Zachary Levi. He's the only thing that elevates the material (which is so-so at best).
I have seen five Broadway shows this month and this one had the most positive audience reaction (with Pippin being a close second). We thought it was fun and clever, and it was refreshing to go to a musical where everyone has a great time. It is not "serious" theatre, but not everything on Broadway should be, in my opinion.
As others have mentioned, Zachary Levi is amazing, and the rest of the cast is great.
The $35 balcony seats are a STEAL. We bought discounted orchestra seats from Playbill, and it was worth every penny.
I just looked on Telecharge, and tonight is almost sold out. Hearing how good word of mouth is on this show, I think it will definitely run through September, and I wouldn't be surprised if it runs through the holidays.
Also incase you don't see Zachary Levi when you go, his understudy/standby, Eric Ankrim, is really good as well. I haven't seen Zach so I can't judge but I don't think you'd be to disappointed if you missed him.
