Even more exciting than Hairspray?

Oh well I guess I have to live up to your expectations folks...you want to make it about Hairspray we'll make it about Hairspray. Unfortunately you all are so uninformed that you can't even take the time to discuss First Lady Suite (probably because you have no idea what it is.) Alright well I won't disappoint....

HAIRSPRAY IS THE WORST SHOW I'VE EVER SEEN
MARISSA IS TALENTLESS
JERRY MITCHELL IS OVERRATED

Okay- happy :)

Man, that is exciting. What a great cast! I've only heard the recording, but it's such an intruiging show, I'd love to see how they put it togther. BoB--have you ever seen it?

I'm glad to see Julia Murney's name in the cast. Does anyone know who's playing which role?

I actually have not seen it performed but know the music and I'm a huge fan of LaChuisa. Julia Murney is an extra perk!

... I know the director. But he had talent coming out his ears and didn't need to audition anyone new (to him).

He also told me I'm too young, as all the characters are in their late 30s to late 40s. How can you argue with that? (even if you are that age!)

Ah, well. My friend James is also in the cast ... I'll have to pump him for stories about Mary Testa, one of my idols!!

Who plays Laura Bush in the "smash-up" movement?

Okay... *very* excited about this. That cast rocks my world.

I'll be pumping someone for stories about Mary Testa, too...!!!

Mary Testa is the ultimate goddess of comedy. re: re: I tried to audition for this ...

Not to be counted out is the very talented James Hindman, also in the cast

I saw this with the ever-lovely former Miss America, Kate Shindle, playing a very lesbish Amelia Earhart, and I must say she was delightful.

Go on, girl!

I don't know who Murney or Testa are playing, but I do know DLC is playing Mary Gallagher. Sounds like it's going to be super.

I'm trying to figure out who Mary Testa will be... erm... Eleanor Roosevelt!? LOL Who knows the show? What are the roles???

I have seen FIRST LADY SUITE and exciting is not the word I'd use. Interesting is more like it. The Eleanor Roosevelt sequence was my favorite.

If it's as exciting as all the other LaChiusa scores I've heard, I'd rather watch paint dry.

Sadly, I did not find one exciting moment in FIRST LADY SUITE, I did think there were lots of interesting moments.
