I'd love to even see the concert come back as long as we have a good set of stairs, some fancy costumes, and an incredible cast. I wouldn't mind recasting Ben, I was really not too impressed with his voice at this point although he acted it just fine. Carlotta I would be pretty out of Baranski's zone seeing how detached she came off, along with the singing which I really don't want to comment on.
Either way, I'd still be glad as long as there was a higher level of artistic justice done than the 2001 revival. All I want is Follies back the way it used to be, I want the show I marri-um, I mean love...

Christine Ebersole's contract is up in Oct. if GG is still running. (I, like most people here don't buy into the theory that she's going to lose the Tony. She deserves it and her perfromance is incredible. BTW-Riedel did say it was smart for her to take the week off before Tony voters start coming.)
Also:
I actually think Ebersole would want to take a smaller role. The article even states that GG has taken an emotional drain on her, so why wouldn't she want to take a breather and play Carlotta? She would still have a showstopper anyway.
I totally agree! And boy would she stop the show!

This news made my day!
I really hope they keep the four leads. I absolutly adored Clark as Sally. She was probably my favorite:)
