Anne Hathaway as Anne and Emmy Rossum as Laura - they look so much alike.
Donna Murphy for Marian.
Simon Callow as Fosco (he is the best!)

Posted: 3/17/06 at 1:55pmI would think the entire Broadway cast. It is by far superior to the London. All three male leads were great. The voices only would be worth the price of admission. Ball, Brazier, and Bohmer. Fantastic.

I'd love to see Meryl Streep tackle the role, although I suppose she's far too old.
Boy, I miss this show.

Children and art were you being sarcastic about Anne and Emmy...... i think they lok similar
Almost Famous...it is called acting i mean Angela Christian didn't sound like a tortured soul when she was Miss Dorothy.

Posted: 3/17/06 at 2:52pmno i was being serious, i think anne hathaway and emmy rossum could be sisters they look so similar.
re: For 'The Woman in White' fans only#31
Posted: 3/17/06 at 3:03pmthey do, i think Anne would be great as Laura if she can hit the notes. Jennifer Hope Wills would be great too.

Posted: 3/17/06 at 3:26pmBwayBaby18- sorry I just don't think Emmy could pull Anne of...Laura however I think she would be quite lovely.
re: For 'The Woman in White' fans only#33
Posted: 3/17/06 at 3:37pmyeah...i wouldn't really wanna see Emmy in this film...but Almostfamous...you are just infatuated with Angela! lol
re: For 'The Woman in White' fans only#34
Posted: 3/17/06 at 4:04pmI cant really see anyone pulling off the role...I don't think anyone can really scream (you know how Anne Catherick screams when they come to lock her up) as well as her, or at least Emmy can't scream like her. But I do think Emmy would make a great Laura.

Can you picture Emmy saying she got raped and all those horrible things that Anne has been through with the "non-expression" expression??? LOL
This movie would need excellent singers and actors. She is a great singer i think, but her acting is just so bad!
re: For 'The Woman in White' fans only#36
Posted: 3/17/06 at 6:26pmLOL! Your're right vocally she is good but acting wise she is always in her "dazed christine world"!

Walter: Drew Lachey
Is it bad that I can picture that, and might actually like it?
