I love Joseph...It was my first broadway show and it is what got me hooked. I saw it with Donny Osmond nd he was very memorable. I however didnt like the dvd version because it was very cheesy and blah! I wish they just filmed it on stage or something....

i saw the tour with sam harris and kristin frealic. she was good!

i also saw the tour with debbie gibson and the boring cassidy guy! blah!

as for the loincloth scenario that has actually happened before where the loincloth accidentally got ripped off. i don't remember who was playing jo but it did!

yes i believe he was exposed, mostly from behind, i don't recall, but the next scene he's locked in a cell, so they prolly ran him off, in time for "close every door"

but that's the beauty of live theatre... you NEVER know what will happen... instead of go go go jo! "poor poor poor jo!"

Well,... It still coulda been Go, Go Jo ... provided that his "manhood" was a site to see.... You know, a golden sheaf and tall. But if it was, indeed second rate, and rather small, then yes ... poor, poor Jo...

But, a little nudity in that scene should be part of the show anyway. The Women's breasts are practically hanging out of their costumes, so a flash of Joseph's ass wouldn't really be pushing the envelop any further. Sure, it's supposed to be a "family musical" but we see naked baby bottoms on commercials all the time ... so it's really no big deal. American's are so stuck up when it comes to nudity. It's sad....
