Regarding the stage-level onstage seating, which side would you say offers the better view---house left or house right? Thanks.

Also - are the upper level stage seats worth trying?
I loved the stage seats but would recommend stage right. There is a long scene at the start where the king is in bed stage left and so the angle to see him is steep on that side.
Wonderful play!
The one at the back of the stage? Absolutely Not, you'll see the actors back for the whole time and since the orchestra is sitting exactly behind you you won't even be able to hear the singing

Just to clarify: by "stage right" you mean from the viewpoint of the performers on stage, not house or audience right, which would be the opposite side---correct?

Bump. To confirm: stage right means audience viewpoint left, correct? Could someone please confirm? Thanks.

I'd like clarification on this, too. From what I've seen in pics, the bed faces stage left/house right, which appears to indicate that the upper-level view from stage left/house right would be preferred.
Also, what is the view like from the upper stage seats?
Yes, stage right means the right hand side as you look out at the audience (so auditorium left)
Just found this seating chart for Farinelli at the Belasco:
