"3) The thread totally devoted to the fact that you spelled a hard word right then eventually lost"
That made me laugh.
I could totally relate to Marcy. She is my favorite character in the Bee (or Jesse's character).
And, as I dislike this score, MUE, 6 Languages, and I'm Not that Smart are my favorite songs.

"Did you also feal that Debroah S. Craig's character was forgettable? I mean, she was really good but....I felt that she was one of those un-needed characters."
Her character is absolutely necessary. She is the typical child who spends her life over-achieving, most likely driven by her parents, and is not happy. There is one, (these days more than one), in every classroom in America. Also, Deborah's portrayal of Marcy is certainly far from forgettable. The piano playing part is one of the most memorable parts of the show.

i dont feel like any of the characters in BEE are unecessary. Any audience member is able to relate to at least one of them, usually more.
I do think all of your posts are unecessary, though.

Sorry for another post, but I forgot to comment about this:
"Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Sarah Saltzenberg (sp?), Lisa Howard, and the guy who played the vice principle didn't come out! Just saying!"
I have seen Sarah Saltzberg and Lisa come out every single time I have seen the show and they have been more than gracious with fans. Just last Saturday, (when you said you were there), I had a conversation with Greg, who was one of the nicest people I have ever met and I also talked with Sarah and Lisa. I have also seen Jesse talking with people both before and after shows.

Thank you!
If a character was uneccessary, they wouldn't be in the show.
The creators usually create a character for a purpose.

You know, liotte was doing a great job at keeping all Spelling Bee posts in one thread until NLS came along...
I don't think that Deborah was forgettable at all, and "I Speak Six Languages" is one of my favorite songs on the OBCR.
As for Sarah, Lisa, Jesse, & Greg not coming out, that's their choice. All four have come out every time I've seen the show, and the entire cast is extremely nice. In fact, I can almost guarentee that you missed Greg coming out. I have had talks with him before about how nobody ever recognizes him after the show.

Thanks Bso, I try.
Glad to see I went to bed and this thread is alive and well for everyone to read in the morning.

Thank you, mijofly.
But honestly, I'd rather not have this guy writing all these negative comments in the main Bee thread (and now that I wrote that, I'm sure he will rush right over)

Posted: 7/13/06 at 11:32amNot at all. She's my favorite female character. What I find so funny about Marcy, is that she's not even a characature. I know people exactly like her. Her facial expressions are hilarious. I be depressed if the character of Marcy wasn't in the show.
