Being that a song list isn't put in the Playbill, it is sometime vauge for theatergoers to remember every song. I haven't seen it in a while, though. Anyone know of new material?

we saw it Sunday afternoon.

They are currently doing:

Annie
Les Miserables: Revival
Julie Andrews
Jersey Boys
Spamalot
Light in the Piazza
Beauty and The Beast (Beauty's Been Decreased)
Lion King - Circle of Mice, and Can You Feel The Pain
You Gotta Get A Puppet (ave q)
Mary Poppins
Hillarious Spelling Bee Interlude
Wickeder
Phantom of the Opera (reverb switch skit)
Ethel Merman Sketch
Yoko Ono Sketch
Squeaky Todd (Sweeney) - Hillarious!
Chicago (Saucy Fosse)
Norbert Leo Butz Sketch
Hairspray Sketch
Mamma Midiocre

I had never seen the light in the piazza sketch before. At one point, a hook comes down and attaches to Claras hat and there is elastic around her chin, so everytime they pull up on the hat her face makes this priceless expression. They also do "say it somehow" and they get lost in the ah ah ah part so they pull out the sheet music.

The SPAMALOT bit was really funny. They did "The Song That Goes Like This" with its ORIGINAL lyrics and the audience was a bit confused like "what the he**??? This IS how the song is supposed to go!" And after the first key change they finally changed the lyrics with "Now this is very strange! The lyrics didn't change!" and the audience went nuts with laughter. They ended the song as "The Song They Stole From Us". Priceless.

Too bad they didn't keep the CHITTY CHITTY scene. It was also a fantastic one with one of the performers playing the car!

Can not wait to see what they do with ACL, and they most likely will revive "Old Revivals" (So love this show. What a guilty pleasure!)

What have they with Mary Poppins, might I ask?

I remember days
Or at least I try
But as years go by
They're sort of haze
And the bluest ink
Isn't really sky
And at times I think
I would gladly die
For a day of sky

It said Julie Andrews. Are they still doing "Broadway the Next 100 Years" or is it just something else?

About time they did. I assumed that Jersey Boys came in the middle of "Broadway: The Next 100 Years", and I bet that it would go into that all seamlessly in lieu of "Good Vibrations", but that's still a pretty good choice.

Wait, so they don't do the whole making fun of harry connick thing?

Anyone know what the tour song list is this year? They are coming to Vegas soon and I want to see it. I saw it about 3 yrs ago on tour, but wondering if they are adding stuff now.

In the past, they have kept the touring productions a little more simple for the the non-New York crowd. But I heard that in recent tour productions, they did Wicked, Hairspray, etc. (current stuff)... as well as the older classics (Chita & Rita, Souvineir Things, etc.)
