I saw him today at Lunt Fontaine, Weds matinee. Great show all around. I've watched enough past concert footage to know that he does a riff about Sinatra, how he wanted to get into show biz cause women threw things at Sinatra on stage and he pauses, looks around to see if anyone throws anything. I was prepared and i threw something cute up there. He didn't even see it! the 4 seasons guys were pointing and so was the audience and he just didn't see it or didn't want to. What a waste! Also, he typically walks the length of the stage and shakes hands during his encore Let's Hang On, but at the Lunt Fontaine with that wide pit between front and the stage, he could not do it. I was so disappointed. I bought front row $$ just for that. After the show some douche outside who though he was king of the barricades was SCREAMING at me to move back even though I couldn't, I was not blocking the pathway at all....i explained to him the woman in back of me was right up against me and since she wouldn't move, I couldn't move -- he kept screaming at me and caused quite a scene but never said a word to the young gal in back of me, even though it was obvious she was plastered up against me. I didn't pay $252 plus fees to be screamed at like that, i don't know if he's employed by Lunt or Frankie's team, but somebody is getting a terse letter from me. Wasn't like i was trying to jump the barricade or hurt anyone, I am hardly a wild teenager. I am middle aged for god's sake, How do you talk to a woman like that who is just minding her business? Frankie came out the stage door only signed a couple of autographs and took off, another disappointment. Someone said he had a cold. BUT even with all this crap, I really did enjoy hearing him run through all the hits and his 4 seasons were great. The music was awesome and i could care less if he lip syncs. It seems most performers these days have SOME kind of vocal assistance on stage. And the man is 82, i give him credit for doing all these shows every day. Even if he's just standing holding a microphone...when I am 82 i will barely be able to get out of bed.
