Fred Applegate just played Elena Shaddow's husband in FANNY at Encores!, and now he's playing her father in LA CAGE.

It's too bad the supporting cast has so little to do in the show.

Well, he gets to sing in "Cocktail Counterpoint". And since he is also M. Renaud, there's that brief little promenade song in Act One before the "Song on the Sand" scene, where I think he'll also be heard.
Begin at the beginning and go on till you come to the end: then stop.
